Nanzan University receives a Ministerial Award for the 4th Infrastructure Maintenance Awards

The refurbishing work carried out on the Nanzan University campus under the Raymond Renovation Project has received a 4th Infrastructure Maintenance Award as the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science Technology Award. The commendation ceremony was held online on January 8, 2021.

The aim of the Infrastructure Maintenance Awards is to recognize and celebrate the best examples of excellence in initiatives or technological development related to infrastructure maintenance inside Japan involving the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The Awards are designed to promote the activities of businesses involved in infrastructure maintenance, to lend energy to the maintenance industry and to encourage appreciation of the underlying ideals behind infrastructure maintenance.

For these 4th Infrastructure Maintenance Awards, 35 projects were selected from among 288 to receive awards such as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award. Nanzan University was awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award.
