Japanese Language Proficiency

Although applicants are recommended to possess the level indicated below of Japanese proficiency, each graduate program has its own criteria. For details about language requirements, contact your program you are interested in.

  • JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test):
    - N1 level or higher
  • EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students):
    - Japanese score of 200 or higher
