  • Available for all 8 Faculties.
  • Expected Japanese language level: N1 (Faculty of Global Liberal Studies: N3)
  • Written exams and interviews at the University.
    - English, Japanese, Mathematics (for Faculty of Science and Engineering Students)

International Student Admissions Gaikokujin Ryugakusei Nyugaku Shinsa(EJU利用型)

  • Available for all 8 Faculties.
  • EJU Japanese Score: 270 or higher
  • Must have the required EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) Test Score and English proficiency test scores (such as TOEFL, IELTS) set by the University
  • Documentary screening only.

Comprehensive Entrance Examination for the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies [Presentation-based Examination]

  • Expected Japanese language level: N3
    - Several courses in the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies are conducted in English.
  • Screening will be carried out in 2 stages.
    - First Stage: Documentary Screening.
    - Second Stage: Essay writing, presentation, and interview at the University.

Comprehensive Entrance Examination for the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies [Presentation-based Examination]

Special Admissions for the Faculty of Policy Studies

  • No prior knowledge of Japanese Proficiency is required at the time of application.
    - Courses are conducted mainly in Japanese.
    - Intensive Japanese language training is provided for the first 18 months after enrollment.
  • Documentary screening only.
  • September entry and April entry are both available.
