CJS students enjoy interacting with Japanese students

October 9, 2020

Nanzan University continues to support international exchange among students despite the challenges of COVID-19.

Japan Plaza, our Japanese language support center, is one place where international students can communicate with Japanese and international students only in Japanese. At the moment, it is physically closed due to the COVID-19, but now it is open online. On September 23, Fall Semester CJS students who are taking online classes from their home countries enjoyed interacting with undergraduate first-year students in Japanese using Zoom.

The University also offers a Buddy System which is a platform matching international students and local students. Students interact with each other freely everyday now using their phones, SNS, email and so on and become friends.
