Lifelong learning

Today, I want to talk to you about something that can truly change your life--learning English not just for exams or job hunting, but as a lifelong journey.

In Japan, many students study English because it's part of the curriculum. But I want to challenge you to see it differently--not as a subject, but as a tool for your future. English connects you to the world. It opens doors to global careers, study abroad programs, international friendships, and even new ways of thinking.

The truth is, English is not something you "finish." Even native speakers are constantly learning. That's why it's called lifelong learning. Every movie you watch, book you read, or conversation you have in English makes you a little stronger, a little wiser.

You may think, "But I'm not good at English." That's okay. You don't have to be perfect. You just have to keep going. Progress, not perfection, is the goal.

By choosing to continue learning English throughout your life, you are choosing growth. You're choosing to be someone who doesn't stop at "good enough." You're choosing to be a global citizen.

So let's not just study English to pass tests. Let's use English to live bigger, to dream further, and to connect deeper. Your future is not limited to Japan--it's waiting for you around the world.
