Empowered People Empower People

Language learning is a powerful tool, but learning a language is ultimately the responsibility of the language speaker. As an English-language instructor, my mission is to empower my students with skills and tools so that they can approach any English-language situation or experience with confidence and awareness. I firmly believe that "Empowered people EMPOWER people." Students in Japan have the gift and privilege to access information, partake in education, and learn English language skills in the classroom. My hope is that these students take this opportunity to add value to their own lives and then share that knowledge with others and pay it forward. Learning a second or foreign language is empowering and using that knowledge to empower others even more so.
