Remember your goal
If you choose to study a language at university, you probably do that for a particular reason. Perhaps you want to study or live abroad, or make foreign friends, or get a particular score on a test, or maybe you just really enjoy speaking a different language. Whatever your goal is, hold on to it. There may be times when university is hard, or you feel you are losing your motivation, but your goal can be your inspiration. When I was a university student, I was rejected from studying abroad in Japan, which was my dream. This was extremely disappointing for me, but I didn't give up and ended up finding a way to first study, and then live, in Japan. I doubted at times that I would achieve my goal, but I managed to reach it in the end. You can do the same!
