Make the most of your university experience

University life is a time of new experiences and preparations crucial for the rest of one's life. And these years can also go by in the twinkling of an eye.

I would like to share a part of an essay by one of my colleague's writing students. It says, "University is like an autumn forest full of red leaves, and it is our task to go around it and collect as many leaves as possible. Our teachers can describe that forest or give directions to it, but in the end, it is our responsibility to find where we go and what we collect. "Dear students, gain as much knowledge and skills as you can while still in the university, learn the languages of the world, so that you can be prepared for a future you can only imagine but cannot be certain of.

Here are some pointers to make the most of your university years:
 1. Be actively involved in discussions. Share your thoughts. Be willing to learn and share your ideas.
 2. Manage your time wisely. Turn in projects or assignments at least a day or two before the due date. NEVER wait until the last minute.
 3. Work on your projects or study for your scheduled examinations ahead of time.
 4. Join school clubs and be socially involved but stay focused. Keep in mind that you are at the university to learn.
 5. Have an open mind to learn new things and consider new possibilities.
 6. Do your best. You may not perfectly get things all the time but try to leave the campus each day knowing that you have given your best.
 7. Be willing to change and transform. Education is a journey to self-discovery.
 8. Always prioritize your physical, mental, and emotional mental health.
 9. Do not overdo things. Take a break to realign and reaffirm your focus and goals.
 10. Finally, enjoy your university life. Take advantage of every opportunity to socialize and study with people of the same interests.
