One of the most important parts of becoming a more effective communicator is improving your English vocabulary. The first and perhaps most important step is to start gathering essential vocabulary and recording it in a central location that you can easily review. That "central location" can be a notebook, an electric dictionary, or a smart phone. I like studying from paper, so I have notebooks, and then I make old-fashioned word cards to review. It's all your choice. The important point is to start making an essential list, keep adding to it, and review it regularly. Just 10-15 minutes a day will dramatically improve your vocabulary!
