将来的研究分野 I am interested in working with video in different genres, and want to develop student film-making skills. I am also interested in metaphor, and teacher development.

Becoming a critical and thoughtful member of society.

For me, university is a place to learn how to think. Of course, a university education will help you find a good job and contribute to your future in very practical ways. However, my goal is to help students develop their critical thinking skills alongside their language proficiency.

People who can find the facts in the sea of information. Young men and women who can consider the arguments and make fair and balanced decisions. Students who can act on their decisions confidently but with attention to others. These are the people we need in the modern world, and you could be one of them.
