Shiho Murakami (Guest Researcher, Ritsumeikan University Institute of Social Systems)

After graduating from Tokyo Woman’s Christian University, she received master’s degrees from the University of Tsukuba and Hitotsubashi University followed by doctorate course units at Hitotsubashi University before leaving the school.
From 2008 to 2013 she has worked as a part-time lecturer of foreign languages at Ritsumeikan University and is currently a guest researcher at the Ritsumeikan University Institute of Social Systems.
Specializing in social anthropology, she has been researching the Protestant Church in Shanghai, China since 2002.
