Mario Poceski
(Associate Professor, Religion Department, University of Florida)

Mario Poceski received his doctorate in East Asian Languages and Cultures, with specialization in Buddhist Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000.

He began instructing at the University of Florida in 2001 and became associate professor of Buddhist Studies and Chinese Religions in 2008.

Dr. Poceski’s recent publications include Introducing Chinese Religions (Routledge, 2009) and he is the author and editor of the upcoming work, The Blackwell Companion to East and Inner Asian Buddhism (Blackwell, forthcoming).
