[ Speaker biography ] Summary
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he taught at the University of Hawaii before moving to current position. He was involved heavily in the foundation of the Irish Institute for Japanese Studies and specializes in cross cultural philosophy.

Heidegger and Asian Thought (ed.,1987), Nietzsche and Asian Thought (ed., 1991), translation of Friedrich Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra (2005), and many others
