From 25 to 27 August, the ASEACCU 19th General Conference & the 13th Students Camp were held at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. Nanzan University was represented by its president, Prof. Michael Calmano, S.V.D., who also served as the ASEACCU executive secretary, and the Director of Center for International Education, Prof. Yoshikazu Watanabe, as well as two undergraduate students.
The main theme of this year's conference was "Caring for God's Creation (From an Asian Perspective)," which was discussed at both the General Conference and the Student Camp. On the last day of the conference, despite the limited time for preparation, students from the participating countries gave wonderful presentations on this theme.
