Exchange Agreement concluded with Universidad de Salamanca

On 9 March, President of Nanzan University Michael Calmano visited Universidad de Salamanca, where he participated in a signing ceremony with its rector, Dr. Daniel Hernàndez Ruipèrez. Established in 1218, Universidad de Salamanca is one of Europe's oldest universities. It is also home to the Centro Cultural Hispano Japonès, which is known as an advanced center of learning in Spain for the study of Japanese language and culture.

From the 2010 academic year, the Department of Spanish and Studies in the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Nanzan University is carrying out its Practical Spanish course at USAL. In addition, the signing ceremony was covered by many local media companies, including the El Aledanto, a daily newspaper that has a history going back more than 100 years.
