2010 ACUCA Student Camp

The 2010 ACUCA（Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia）Student Camp was held from 19 to 23 July at Keimyung University in the city of Daegu, which is located in the southern area of the Republic of Korea. Held once every two years since 1994, this year a total of 80 staff and students from affiliated universities in seven Asian countries participated. This year was the first time for Nanzan University to be represented. The theme for this year's Camp was "The Earth: Our Choices, Our Actions and Our Impact," and the objective of the Camp was to develop the links between student's Christian faith and practical efforts for living an ecologically friendly and sustainable life. In this context, the students from various countries in Asia had a lively discussion on various environmental issues. Student reports giving their views of the experience are found below.
