Graduate Program in Business Administration

The program strives to develop skilled professionals equipped with a combination of knowledge, specific skills, Ideas, and a conceptual framework enabling them to conduct effective business administration in a rapidly changing international society.

The program seeks to develop individuals with an awareness of our school’s educational motto, “For Human Dignity” ― people who as members of international society are capable of fulfilling their social responsibilities through corporate activity, in a manner that is both ethical and environmentally-conscious.

The program also seeks to foster individuals who can demonstrate strengths in the areas of manufacturing and logistics, as well as collaboration with corporations in China and other regions and countries of Asia. Both of these are overt needs of local industries and regional communities in the Tokai region.

Features of the Department

  • Classes are offered at night and on Saturdays to accommodate busy working people.
This allows workers to continue their jobs while acquiring greater specialized knowledge and skills. The standard term of study is two years. The program welcomes business-oriented individuals with a precise awareness of issues and a sense of purpose, including those continuing their education from college, therefore lacking work experience.
  • A thorough understanding of the basic philosophies and essentials of business.
In order to develop the ability to solve a variety of business problems, you must not only be strong in your own area of expertise, but must also have a fundamental understanding of all primary functions, a sufficient knowledge of the analytical tools that support decision making, and an understanding of the magnitude of corporate responsibility. Bearing in mind the range of backgrounds and achievements that enrollees bring with them, the curriculum teaches the basic theories and essentials of business through a core group of classes compulsory in the first year.
  • Emphasizing business ethics.
With regard to the crucial modern issue of corporate social responsibility, we educate our students from the standpoint of business ethics and environmentally-friendly management practices. We teach “Business Ethics” in the core classes.
