who act as members of the international society, and who can fulfill a social responsibility, through corporate activity, from an ethical and environmentally-conscious standpoint.
  2. Individuals who can demonstrate strengths in the areas of “manufacturing and logistics,” as well as “collaborating with corporations in the regions and countries of Asia, beginning with China,” which are both overt needs of local industries and regional communities of the Tokai region.

Characteristics

Night-time and Saturday Class offerings to accommodate busy workers.
We offer night-time and Saturday classes so workers can continue their job while acquiring greater specialized knowledge and skills. The standard term of study is 2 years. Our doors are wide open to business-oriented individuals with a precise awareness of issues and a sense of purpose, even if you are continuing your education from college and lack work experience.

A thorough understanding of the basic philosophies and essentials of business
In order to acquire the ability to adequately solve a variety of problems that arise in business, you must not only be versed in your own area of expertise, but you must also have a fundamental understanding of all primary functions, sufficient knowledge of analytical tools that support decision making, and an understanding of the magnitude of corporate responsibility. While bearing in mind the various backgrounds and achievements that enrollees bring with them, we attentively teach the basic theories and essentials of business by establishing a core group of classes and requiring students to enroll in the first year.

Emphasizing business ethics and environmental management
In modern times, when it comes to the highest priority issue of corporate social responsibility, we educate our students from the standpoint of business ethics and environmentally-friendly management. In the core group of classes we teach “Business Ethics,” and offer classes on management in Asia as part of the minor program.

Practical education that corresponds with the needs of the Tokai Region
One of the primary characteristics of the Nanzan Business School is that we offer an education that corresponds to the needs of corporations that are active in the Tokai Region. In order to cultivate students who can demonstrate strengths in the areas of “manufacturing and logistics” and “collaborating with corporations in the regions and countries of Asia, beginning with China,” we have established groups of classes that relate to manufacturing and logistics, as well as management in Asia.

Communication skills using English and Chinese
Utilizing the characteristics unique to Nanzan University, we have established a group of communication skill classes to learn English and Chinese, which are absolutely imperative in doing business in Asia. Here you will be able to polish your English and Chinese discussion, writing, and presentation skills.
