Graduate Program in Management

Nanzan University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, one of the oldest graduate programs of its kind in Japan, has produced many capable scholars since its inception in 1972. In addition to researchers who have completed their doctoral courses (28 as of 2009), many students who have completed the program have gone on to build successful careers in local enterprises, thereby contributing to the cultivation of various types of high-level professionals in the Chubu region ― from researchers and entrepreneurs to technical workers and managerial officials. Furthermore, by welcoming international students from a variety of different regions of the world, the graduate school has contributed to the training and development of capable professionals who go on to benefit their respective home countries. Every year the Graduate School of Business Administration also receives a large number of applications from working adults, evidence that it is responding to the need of individuals who want to gain a theoretical appreciation of their experience gained in the real world.
