The Department of Information Systems and Mathematical Sciences aims to cultivate information analysis. In order to serve the needs of the business, political, and welfare communications, courses allow students to develop their capacity to produce new models and optimize existing models that deal with such diverse systems as marketing data analysis and intelligent transport systems, while also allowing them to develop their ability to analyze and process the vast amount of information available in our technologically advanced information society.

Features of the Department

Each student is provided with laptop computer, which can be connected to any one of 6,000 access points across the campus.
Specialist courses formed around the core of Information Mathematics, Operations Research and Statistics are on offer, with studies in each of these threads starting from the basics and progressing toward the highly specialized.
Using mathematical methods and computers, in our courses and seminars we employ a practical approach to real-world problems.
