【Sao Paolo, Brazil】24th IFCU (International Federation of Universities) Executive Board Meeting and General Assembly

July 22-27, 2012

After being appointed as IFCU vice-president in 2009, Michael Calmano has attended the general assemblies, board meetings and executive board meetings. On this occasion, the general assembly was held at the Fundacao Educacional Inaciana, in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Presidents from Catholic universities in the five continents of the world attended, discussing issues such as how institutions of higher learning currently at the crossroads inherit Catholic educational ideals, how they should develop and apply them, and the nature of the mission that Catholic universities must undertake.

At this meeting Michael Calmano was reappointed as vice-president through until 2015.
