[ 長期研究 ]	内容 I have a strong interest in looking closely at how to bring modern media into the English classroom in ways that are practical and efficient for learning. I believe this topic will be increasingly important as we move forward into the 21st century, and I would like to be part of creating and refining this new instructional paradigm.

[ 短期研究 ]	内容 Recently, I have been working with colleagues on two different research areas. One topic is dealing with the differences between ESL and EFL learners as it relates to effective teaching strategies in the classroom. The other topic has to do with the importance of modeling examples in writing instruction.
[ 趣味・特技など ]	I love hiking, gardening, and just generally being outdoors. I'm interested in connections...between events, people, languages, or anything else really. I also like creative endeavors of all sorts, especially when the end result is something that is helpful to others.
[ 皆様へメッセージ ]	Hello all! I'm very happy to be here with you at Nanzan this year. It's really an honor to be part of a university that has so many wonderful things going on. I feel like almost every day I find out about something new and interesting happening on campus! The students and faculty both are really putting their hearts into making this an incredible place to study and grow. I'm very much looking forward to working with you and helping to continue the spirit of effort and creativity that makes this university such a place for excellence.
