- After the Second Vatican Council various Ecclesial Movements sprung in the Catholic Church. The three great Pontiffs after the Second Vatican Council have greatly encouraged these movements but at the same time have stressed to discern the genuiness of each Movement. Hence it is very important to study the theological basis of these Movements and discern whether it is the Holy Spirit who is the principal animator of these Movements.
